Published March 22, 2024

As Easter approaches, two renowned Guyanese DJs, Tameshwar Narain, known as DJ Golden Chyld, and Haymant Batoolall, who goes by DJ Amit, are meticulously preparing something spectacular for their fans. The duo is gearing up to offer an unforgettable experience through a dynamic super concert along with a vibrant seawall gathering over the Easter weekend.

Seawall Lime Easter Celebration

The Easter celebrations are set to kick off with the Easter Monday Lime, organized by Dreamworks Entertainment in partnership with Force Ripe Sounds and sponsored by 592 Lager beer. This eagerly awaited social affair is scheduled to unfold at the Ogle Seawall, beginning from 11:00 hrs and stretching into the evening.

"Securing the seawall spot was essential, as the Easter Monday tradition brings many people to the area," explained DJ Golden Chyld. "We're keen to provide an environment where patrons can enjoy good music, cold refreshments, and a great atmosphere with their families," he added, emphasizing the event's focus on delivering quality entertainment.

One East Coast Big Nite Super Concert

Following the lime, DJ Amit takes the lead in hosting the One East Coast Big Nite super concert occurring at the Better Hope Community Centre Ground on March 30. This event is set for a grand showcase with local talent including Stephen Ramphal, Vanita Willie, Kevin Singh, Nishal B, Tony Cutz, and Bunty Singh gracing the stage alongside international acts like KI, Kavita Ramkisson, Adrian Dutchin, and Nigel Gobin.

The concert, sponsored by Banks DIH, promises a professional setup with an elevated stage and exclusive privileges for VVIP ticket holders, who will enjoy complimentary food and drinks. Ticket pricing tiers are set at $25,000 for VVIP access, $10,000 for VIP, and $3,000 for regular entry.

Fans can anticipate an electrifying event as DJ Amit aims to top past successes, highlighted by the return of KI, whose recent hit 'Love You Again' has been trending. Looking ahead, DJ Amit hopes to bring the highly acclaimed Karma Band from Trinidad to Guyana for a Boxing Night performance in December.
