A New Twist on a Classic Event

According to Beloit Memorial Band Director Chris Behrens, the 'Hot Chili and Cool Jazz' concert provides a fresh interpretation of their previous spaghetti dinner performances. This time, attendees will savor a different kind of warmth with chili, complemented by hot dogs, chips, and beverages as they enjoy the melodies.

Eclectic Jazz Repertoire

The high school jazz band and the Fruzen-Aldrich Jazz Ensemble are set to perform a varied selection of pieces. The repertoire includes classics from jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock, and County Basie, promising an afternoon full of rhythm and swing.

The 'Hot Chili and Cool Jazz' concert is scheduled for 2pm on February 18th, located in the Beloit Memorial High School cafeteria. Ticket pricing is set at $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 5 to 12, while children under 5 can enjoy the event free of charge.
