El Campello Hosts Meohadim Dance Portraying Women's Life Stories

Published February 12, 2024

Five women will unveil personal narratives through the powerful medium of Meohadim dance at the Pedro Vaello Theatre in El Campello's House of Culture. On Saturday, February 17, audiences are invited to witness a unique and transformative dance performance beginning at 7:30 pm.

Collaborative Dance Creation

This performance is the brainchild of the Jacob Gomez Company, co-created with talented dancers named Blanca, Helena, Julia, Lara, and Naya, featuring music by the accomplished Sergio Gassmann. The dancers will convey their personal experiences with an intimate portrayal of their emotions through dance and music.

A Family's Journey on Stage

What makes this show exceptional is that it's not just a dance concert; it's an intimate journey of five sisters sharing their bond and stories on stage. The performance is a result of the choreographer's desire to explore themes of emotional distance and personal space. The show has resonated with audiences across various cities, including Catalonia, Valencia, Madrid, and Portugal, even securing an Audience Award from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.

Experience the Emotion Live

For those eager to be part of this emotional voyage, tickets are available for purchase at the House of Culture's Concierge or online through the Instant Ticket website. Don't miss the chance to be transcended by the expressive power of dance and storytelling on this special evening.
