Four Tet Unveils New Single 'Loved' from His Upcoming Album

Published January 10, 2024

Four Tet, also known as Kieran Hebden, has introduced his audience to the first single of 2024 titled 'Loved'. This new track is also the lead song for his much-anticipated album that is in the pipeline.

Fans got a glimpse of the official single artwork when Hebden posted it on his Instagram account with a note saying, 'Loved is out now. It's the opening track from the new album which is coming soon. Artwork by Jason Evans.'

'Loved' presents a tranquil drum rhythm accompanied by gentle keyboard notes. In the midst of the song, there's a blend of thunderous sounds that enhance the melody. The single made its debut on Mary Anne Hobbs' show on 6Music and has since been made accessible across various streaming platforms.

However, the release date for the complete album hasn't been announced yet.

The previous year was eventful for Four Tet, with notable collaborations with Skrillex and Fred again.. The trio notably filled in the 'TBA' slot at Coachella's weekend two, following Frank Ocean's withdrawal. They had also performed together at a sold-out surprise show at New York's Madison Square Garden.

An NME review praised their Madison Square Garden performance for its vibrant energy, dance-inducing music, and the undeniable connection shared by the thousands in attendance. During the show, Skrillex reflected on the diverse backgrounds that bound them together and the collective moment they shared with the audience.

In addition to this, Four Tet is set to perform at this year's Bonaroo festival. Scheduled between June 13th and 16th on Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee, the festival promises a varied lineup of artists across 10 stages, offering an eclectic mix of performances over four days.
