Party Party People Enlivens LA with its 2nd Year Celebration Featuring Iconic DJs
The nightlife of Downtown Los Angeles was abuzz on February 25 as The Noypitz hosted a bustling celebration for Party Party People's (PPP) second anniversary. Guests were treated to a nostalgic musical journey spanning the '70s to '90s, thanks to the vibrant sets by long-standing DJ Jerome Sto. Domingo and Manila's own DJ Garth Santayana.
A Formation of Musical Unity
PPP started as a social media community, conceived by Michelle Sto. Domingo Advincula with the aim of showcasing local Pinoy DJs and sharing event information in Southern California. Zigmond Yee, the president of PPP, emphasizes their selectiveness in promoting events and collaborations.
Community Engagement and Support
The group has been an active participant in community events, contributing to fundraisers and actively engaging in the clubbing and event scene. PPP's dedication extends to other event organizers and productions, fostering a supportive network among local DJs and artists.
A myriad of local Filipino talent, including DJs and performers, graced the anniversary event, signifying strong camaraderie. Business owners, community leaders, and PPP members joined the festivities, adding to the night's vigour and excitement.
Looking Ahead
As PPP enters its third year, aspirations remain high. The community plans to continue spotlighting upcoming DJ talents, while also supporting venues and local businesses through their events.
