The renowned hip-hop trio, Epik High, recently commemorated their two-decade milestone with a trio of sold-out concerts, which not only celebrated their long-standing career but also showcased the unyielding support from their fans. These special anniversary performances were aptly titled Epik High 20th Anniversary Concert and took place in the spacious SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium, drawing an impressive crowd that spanned a cumulative total of 15,000 attendees over the course of three days.

A Triumphant Trio of Concerts

Initially, Epik High had only planned two performances—one for Friday and another for Saturday. However, the overwhelming demand for tickets led to the rapid sell-out of seats, prompting the addition of a third show on Sunday. This was a clear testament to the enduring popularity and influence the group has maintained throughout two decades in the music industry.

A Diverse Musical Journey

The concert series was a spectacular showcase of Epik High's extensive musical repertoire, featuring a setlist that spanned their earliest hits to their latest offerings. The group kicked off their concerts with the iconic track White Night, and continued to take the audience on a journey through Korea's hip-hop evolution with beloved anthems like Fly, Peace Day, and One. Fans participated enthusiastically, echoing the lyrics in a shared celebration of the trio's legacy.

Star-studded Collaborations

Each night of the concert series was further enhanced by the appearance of guest artists. Epik High was joined by various heavyweights in the Korean music scene, including the likes of Dynamic Duo, Ha Dong-kyun, Psy, the band Nell, Sung Si-kyung, and Younha. These collaborations added another layer of excitement and surprise, rewarding concertgoers with unique performances.

Expressions of Gratitude

Tablo, the leader of Epik High, expressed his astonishment and heartfelt thanks to the massive turnout and support, revealing that he had doubts about selling out the venues. His fellow members, Mithra Jin and DJ Tukutz, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the fans' pivotal role in sustaining their musical journey.
