Published November 27, 2023

This past week on late-night television, viewers were treated to an array of stellar live music performances. Audiences were captivated by the sounds of Offset, Davido, The National, among others, showcasing the diversity and talent that graces the late-night TV stage.

Offset & Don Toliver:

Offset, hot on the heels of his latest album release Set It Off, took to the stage at 30 Rock for a dynamic performance of "Worth It" with Don Toliver on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Their performance, set against a beach-themed backdrop, brought a touch of summer warmth to the studio, complemented by a catchy sample from Busta Rhymes' "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See."

Davido:

In a true celebration of the vibrant Afrobeats genre, superstar Davido lit up the Tonight Show with a scintillating medley of "Feel" and "Unavailable." Surrounded by lively dancers and supported by a robust brass band, Davido's performance was nothing short of exhilarating.

The National:

A shift in mood was presented on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert with The National's deep and brooding rendition of "Space Invader" from their album Laugh Track. The band's signature introspective sound provided a reflective moment in the week's roundup of musical highlights.

Alec Benjamin:

Emerging artist Alec Benjamin delivered an emotional performance of "Different Kind Of Beautiful" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Staging the performance to resemble an intimate bedroom scene, complete with familiar comforts and a laptop displaying Pro Tools, lent a personal touch to the heartfelt song.
