As the weekend approaches, an eclectic mix of events including musical concerts featuring local and international talents, as well as art and video-dance displays, are set to entertain residents and visitors alike. Get ready for a weekend infused with culture and entertainment.

Music Galore at Nicosia International Festival

The Nicosia Municipal Theatre will be buzzing with the Nicosia International Festival, offering three consecutive days of diverse performances. Kicking off the weekend, on Friday, is an English-language performance by Nefeli Kentoni titled Katabasis. The following night, enjoy the sounds of Avgi Stavrou as she unveils her new album. The weekend culminates in a grand family party concert on Sunday with the Strovolos Municipality – European University Cyprus Symphonic Band, bringing together over 35 musicians for an interactive concert experience.

International and Local Bands Hit the Stage

The Swedish symphonic metal band Therion will grace Nicosia with a one-time performance at Pavillion on Friday, playing from their latest album, Leviathan III. Meanwhile, Limassol's lively scene will be treated to a performance by the local favorite band OnTour, rocking Ravens Music Hall on Saturday night.

Classical Music Enchants Limassol

Limassol's Rialto Theatre invites guests to a special evening with the esteemed Cypriot pianist Martino Tirimo on Sunday. His recital, staging some of the great classical masterpieces, is anticipated to be a highlight of the weekend.

Classical Waltzes and Festive Cheer

Setting a Viennese atmosphere, the Cyprus Wine Museum in Erimi village presents the VivArt’s – String Quartet during their Sunday concert, featuring a selection of classic waltzes, polkas, and celebratory pieces by composers such as Strauss and Arditi.

Art and Movement

The art scene also commands attention this weekend, with numerous new art exhibitions opening across the island. Additionally, a unique performance and video-dance exhibition by Mélissa Garcia Carro and Pascal Caron is slated for Saturday evening at the State Gallery of Contemporary Art in Nicosia, promising a blend of visual art and dance.
