Iconic British Rock Band Jethro Tull Set to Perform in Palma

Published January 2, 2024

Renowned British rock band Jethro Tull is scheduled to grace the stage at Palma Auditorium on the 24th of February, marking another high-profile act from the UK to visit Mallorca.

The much-anticipated concert has seen a swift uptake of tickets, with prices ranging from €45 to €90. Fans of the legendary group, known for their distinctive melding of rock, blues, progressive, and folk music, are urged to secure their tickets promptly to experience the band's live show.

Continuing a Legacy

Jethro Tull, still fronted by the ever-energetic Ian Anderson, continues to innovate and expand their musical legacy. The band's latest offering, a 23rd studio album entitled RökFlöte, delves into the rich tapestry of Pagan Norse Gods' sagas.

Following their critically hailed 2022 release, The Zealot Gene, which ended a two-decade hiatus from studio recordings, the group proves its timeless appeal, boasting worldwide album sales around the 60 million mark.

The formation we see today came together with the intent to tour in 2019. However, plans were pushed back due to the global pandemic. Currently, they are fulfilling a packed tour schedule which will see them performing until 2024 and specifically treating German audiences in autumn.

With the Palma concert being one among only three appearances in Spain, which include dates in Granada and Malaga, the opportunity to witness Jethro Tull live in Mallorca is a rarity that fans should not miss.
