As Lenchantin exits, Pixies have expressed their gratitude towards her for the contributions she has made during her time with them. They extend their best wishes for her future endeavors. Taking over the position, Pixies have introduced Emma Richardson, formerly associated with Band of Skulls, as their new bassist. Richardson is set to make her touring debut with Pixies on an upcoming European tour, much to the delight of the band and fans alike.

Pixies' European Tour

The European tour is a celebration of the band's albums 'Bossanova' and 'Trompe le Monde'. The tour begins in Dublin with several consecutive performances, before moving on to venues in Manchester and London. Pixies also disclosed their plans for a new explorative phase with their album 'Doggerel', as well as an upcoming joint US tour with Modest Mouse and Cat Power set to begin in May.

Lenchantin has been known for her previous work with Zwan and A Perfect Circle, and had once revealed her admiration for the Pixies in her youth. She reminisces about attending one of their concerts back in 1989, even skipping school to do so, evidencing her long-standing connection with the band's music.
