Downtown Las Vegas Gears Up for Free April Fridays Concert Series

Published March 6, 2024

In anticipation of the lively Downtown Rocks free-concert series traditionally starting around Memorial Day Weekend, the Fremont Street Experience (FSE) introduces its latest attraction—'Free April Fridays'. This new array of musical festivities is set to launch on April 5, and will offer locals and visitors alike complimentary entertainment spanning four consecutive Fridays.

Launch of Free April Fridays

The inaugural 'Free April Fridays' event kicks off with the 'Pop 2000 Tour', boasting an impressive lineup. Hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of ‘N Sync fame, the opening show features a throwback ensemble with O-Town, BBMAK, Ryan Cabrera, and LFO setting the stage alight. Following Fridays promise equally engaging performances, including Alien Ant Farm and The Ataris on April 12, The Sugarhill Gang and Tag Team on April 19th, and completing the month with a high-energy set from Lit on April 26.

A Prelude to Downtown Rocks

'Free April Fridays' isn't just an event in itself—it's a build-up to the much-anticipated Downtown Rocks series. This strategic move aims to whip up excitement and draw crowds under the iconic Viva Vision canopy, which has continuously attracted attendees with its stellar free concerts like the recent RaceJam event headlined by country star Dylan Scott. Prior to the April concerts, FSE keeps the festive spirit going with its 'ShamROCK Bash', featuring 137 hours of Irish-themed festivities from March 14-17.

A Dynamic Downtown Experience

The Fremont Street Experience is no stranger to hosting crowd-pleasing events, with its vast array of live performances becoming a staple in downtown Vegas's entertainment scene. These free concerts provide a perfect blend of nostalgia, energy, and community spirit, fully embodying the vibrant culture that FSE and Las Vegas are known for.
