'90s Alt-Rock Band Gin Blossoms to Perform at Iconic Las Vegas Theater

Published March 19, 2024

The Gin Blossoms, a seminal alt-rock band hailing from Tempe, Arizona, are gearing up to bring their nostalgic tunes to the International Theater in Las Vegas this summer. Known for their breakthrough '90s hits, the band will take the stage on July 6th at the Westgate's renowned performing arts venue. Tickets are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, with fans able to secure their seats through Ticketmaster or directly at the Westgate.

The Gin Blossoms rose to prominence with their 1992 album 'New Miserable Experience,' which spawned several chart-topping singles. 'Hey Jealousy' made significant waves, reaching No. 25 on the Billboard singles charts, followed by other hits such as 'Allison Road' and 'Until I Fall Away.' Their subsequent album, 'Congratulations I'm Sorry,' received platinum status and included 'As Long as It Matters,' a Grammy-nominated song, as well as 'Follow You Down,' which broke into the top 10.

Continuing their legacy, the Gin Blossoms tour annually, often sharing the stage with other iconic bands from their era such as Collective Soul, Barenaked Ladies, and Hootie & the Blowfish. The band has maintained a strong presence, having performed at the Backyard Amphitheater at Green Valley Ranch Resort last April. This upcoming summer show is orchestrated by notable rock promoter Danny Zelisko, promising to offer a memorable experience for fans of '90s alternative rock.
