This prestigious event celebrates and honors media for their fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community and its issues. Notable wins included the accolades for 'Fellow Travelers' and 'Yellowjackets' in major categories.

Highlights from the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards

Among the night's significant moments, media icon Oprah Winfrey received the Vanguard Award for her long-standing support of the LGBTQ community, and Niecy Nash-Betts was the proud recipient of the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for her impact in promoting LGBTQ acceptance in media.

The event, filled with glitz and glamour, was hosted by the charismatic Wayne Brady. Guests were treated to star-studded performances by artists like Chlöe and Kate Hudson, adding an extra dash of entertainment to the evening.

Winners in several key categories were revealed, spanning from television to music. Fellow Travelers took home the award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series, while Ted Lasso cheered as the Outstanding Comedy Series. RuPaul's Drag Race continued its streak with the Outstanding Reality Competition Program win, and Yellowjackets secured the Outstanding Drama Series award. A notable mention in the music sphere went to Reneé Rapp, who was lauded as the Outstanding Music Artist.

More winners are slated to be announced in additional categories at a later ceremony in New York on May 11.
