This year’s host is the talented actress and comedian Michelle Buteau. Known for her roles in films and shows like Happiest Season, Always Be My Maybe, and Survival of the Thickest, Buteau has also gained attention for her Netflix special, Michelle Buteau: Welcome to Buteaupia.
Who Will Perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards?
The lineup of performers for this year’s ceremony includes Coldplay, Shaboozey, Jelly Roll, and Linkin Park. This will mark Linkin Park's first performance at an award show with vocalist Emily Armstrong following the tragic loss of their lead singer, Chester Bennington, in 2017.

Zach Bryan leads the nominations this year with an impressive total of 18 nominations and 21 entries. In 2023, he won awards for Top New Artist and Top Rock Artist. Following Bryan is Taylor Swift, with a total of 16 nominations across 17 categories, making her the most awarded female artist in BBMAs history.
First-time nominee Sabrina Carpenter is also making waves this year, competing in 9 categories, including Top Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist.
