NEW YORK (AP) — In the Los Angeles area, severe wildfires have been raging for over three weeks, resulting in the destruction of more than 14,000 structures and displacing tens of thousands of people.

In response to this disaster, a significant relief effort has sprung up, with musicians coming together for a one-night-only benefit concert called FireAid.

Artists such as Billie Eilish, Stevie Wonder, and many others are set to perform in this star-studded event aimed at providing financial aid for wildfire relief efforts.

What is FireAid?

FireAid is a major benefit concert aimed at providing relief for victims of the wildfires affecting the Los Angeles area. The event is organized by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family, in collaboration with Live Nation and AEG Presents.

All proceeds from FireAid will be allocated under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation to support both immediate relief efforts and long-term initiatives designed to mitigate future fire disasters.
