Roskilde Festival 2024 Expands Line-up with Doja Cat, Jane’s Addiction Among New Additions

The highly anticipated 52nd edition of Roskilde Festival, a celebrated non-profit music event in Denmark, is shaping up to have an outstanding array of performers with its latest lineup expansion. Scheduled to run from June 29 to July 6, 2024, the festival is expected to draw large crowds, and fans can secure their entry by purchasing tickets now.

Star-Studded Headliners

PJ Harvey and the esteemed rock band Foo Fighters have been unveiled as the lead acts for Roskilde Festival 2024. These headliners will be joined by a diverse mix of artists including Romy, Skrillex, Aurora, Blondshell, and Heilung, promising a vibrant celebration of music across various genres.

New Line-up Additions

The festival has excited fans with the announcement of 29 new acts added to the lineup, bringing fresh and dynamic sounds to the event. Among them is the multifaceted artist Doja Cat, whose appearance at the festival has been highly anticipated since her planned performance in 2020, which was cancelled due to the pandemic. Also joining the roster are legendary rock group Jane’s Addiction, rising rap sensation Ice Spice, groove collective Jungle, ambient rock band Khruangbin, UK rapper J Hus, and punk outfit Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

Anders Wahrén, the Head of Programme at Roskilde Festival, expressed his excitement over these additions. He highlighted Doja Cat's journey from 'star in the making' to her current status as a global rap icon, marking her presence at the festival as a long-awaited fulfillment.

Other notable names included in the recent lineup update are English Teacher, Nia Archives, Lankum, and Amen Dunes, offering festival-goers a rich palette of musical styles to experience.

The event's previous year was marked by impressive performances from acts like Blur, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Lizzo, setting high expectations for the upcoming festival.

Doja Cat's schedule is full of headlining shows, including Coachella, Rock In Rio Lisbon, Parklife, and Open'er Festival. Her 'Scarlet Tour' is set to continue through the UK and Europe, with a notable stop at The O2 in London this summer.
