Lainey Wilson, hailing from Louisiana, discovered her passion for music at the young age of nine during a visit to the Grand Ole Opry. Inspired by the performance, she began writing her own songs shortly after and spent her teenage years entertaining as a Hannah Montana impersonator at various events, including birthday parties, fairs, and festivals.
After finishing high school, she made the bold decision to move to Nashville, where she lived in a camper trailer parked outside a recording studio. This lifestyle allowed her to pursue her dreams relentlessly. Lainey initially released two albums on small labels before securing a record deal with a major label in 2018. Her hard work paid off in 2020 when her debut single “Things a Man Oughta Know” reached number one on Billboard’s country airplay chart. She has since achieved further success with songs such as “Heart Like a Truck,” “Watermelon Moonshine,” and “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.” Her upcoming tour supports her fifth studio album titled “Whirlwind.”
In addition to her music career, Wilson has made strides in acting as well. She appeared in five episodes of the popular Western drama series “Yellowstone,” showcasing her versatility as a performer.
