Musicology has established its presence at 420 5th Ave. S., Suite 107, where visitors can find an assortment of both new and used vinyl, alongside CDs and a selection of music-related merchandise to cater to diverse tastes. The shop’s strategic location in downtown Edmonds further adds to its charm, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a world of musical treasures.

The enterprise is spearheaded by Rachel Gardner, a figure well-known in the local music scene, not only as a musician but also as a columnist dedicated to covering local music. Gardner's expertise and passion are complemented by the acumen of her business partners, which include Elizabeth Murray, an Art Beat columnist, Jason Murray, and Brian Gardner—collectives of individuals making waves in the music industry.

During the celebratory opening event, patrons could be seen sifting through vinyl records, among them a vintage Carole King album discovered by enthusiastic shopper Marta Card.
