Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shakira Set to Perform at the Grammys

Published January 24, 2025

The Recording Academy has confirmed that the 67th annual Grammy Awards will proceed as planned on February 2 in Los Angeles. This year's show will feature an exciting lineup of performers including Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Shakira, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX.

Billie Eilish, a highlight among this year's nominees, is anticipated to deliver a stellar performance at the event. Eilish, along with Carpenter, Roan, and Charli XCX, are young powerhouses who made significant waves in the pop music scene throughout 2024. Shakira, a three-time Grammy winner, is also set to take the stage, showing her enduring presence in the music industry.

The decision to host the Grammys comes amid a focus on raising funds for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles, leading to a more structured event this year. The initial lineup of performers hints at an event filled with star power, ready to entertain fans and viewers alike.

In addition to the already announced artists, the show will also feature the talented rapper Doechii and alt-rock artist Benson Boone, who had substantial hits last year. The lineup also includes singer-songwriters Raye and Teddy Swims, both of whom are nominated for the best new artist award, alongside Carpenter and Roan.

For the fifth consecutive year, the ceremony will be hosted by Trevor Noah, promising both humor and insights for the audience.

The lead-up to the Grammys typically sees a flurry of events like label parties and showcases, but this year, most celebrations have been canceled. Instead, the Recording Academy decided on a more condensed schedule that highlights key events, including a MusiCares dinner aimed at fundraising for the Academy's charity initiatives. This year, the MusiCares event will honor the Grateful Dead, a group that has never won a competitive Grammy.

The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on CBS and will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
