Published February 3, 2024

Mallorca is gearing up for an electrifying music event as it hosts the first in a series of concerts featuring iconic UK artists.

British stars James Blunt and Sir Tom Jones are confirmed to delight fans with their performances at the Trui Son Fusteret venue in Palma, scheduled for July 23 and July 30, respectively. These shows mark the kick-off of the Palma Concert Series, expected to shine a new light on the island's musical landscape.

The event's creators view this as a pivotal opportunity to blend music with tourism, thereby enhancing the island's appeal not just to local music enthusiasts but also to international visitors from countries like England, Germany, Austria, Portugal, and the USA.

Son Fusteret was selected for its excellent accessibility and top-notch facilities, with the promise to spectators of an unparalleled concert-going experience in an intimate setting over the span of four significant shows.

Renowned UK Performers

The beloved 'romantic', James Blunt, is expected to serenade the audience with his well-known ballads such as 'Goodbye my lover.' This appearance will be his first performance in Mallorca, a place he's held dear since a video shoot back in 2005.

Meanwhile, Sir Tom Jones, the venerable music icon with a monumental career of over sixty years, will take the stage with his timeless hits including 'It's Not Unusual' and 'Sex Bomb,' reigniting his rapport with fans in Mallorca.

With a keen eye on appealing to both locals and tourists, these concerts strive to deliver unforgettable musical moments through the months of July and August.

Emphasizing the harmonious relationship between the music industry and tourism sector, the event aims to be a magnet for music aficionados, whether they hail from the island or are holidaymakers seeking cultural enrichment.

A variety of ticketing options are on offer, from numbered seating at €65 to the lavish Premium Vip Box, boasting a prime view of the stage, table service from high-end brands, and private parking, all for €1,500 accommodating six guests.

Ticket sales commence on February 7, and the concerts promise to stand out as a highlight among Mallorca's summer attractions.
