Published March 19, 2024

Billie Eilish marked her Oscar win at the 96th Academy Awards with a special celebration. After clinching the award on March 10, the young star extended her festivities into the early morning hours, living up her Hollywood moment.

On her Instagram Stories, the 22-year-old star shared a snapshot of her after-hours partying, showing her at Astro Family Restaurant in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, up till almost 6 a.m.

In the photo, Billie sat in a booth with her Oscar prominently displayed on the table. A timestamp indicated the celebration lasted until 5:36 AM.

Winning for 'What Was I Made For?' from the hit Barbie movie, Billie took home the Best Original Song Oscar.

Dressed in the same stylish black blazer and striped shirt she wore earlier, but with her hair pinned up, Billie enjoyed a simple meal of scrambled eggs while reflecting on her successful night.

She wasn't alone in her accomplishment; her brother and musical partner Finneas O’Connell joined in the celebration. The two have now won Oscars together twice, the first for their James Bond theme 'No Time to Die.'

This victory positions Billie as the youngest person to have won multiple Academy Awards, while Finneas follows as the second youngest.

This season has been historic for Billie, as she became the first female artist to win the Triple Crown of film music awards twice, including an Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe.

Her song 'What Was I Made For?' stood out among competitors, including Ryan Gosling's 'I'm Just Ken' from the same Barbie franchise.

In an emotional speech, Billie thanked the Academy and expressed her shock and gratitude, dedicating the award to those touched by the movie and the music.

The Oscars honored a wide array of films, with 'Oppenheimer' scooping seven awards including Best Picture. Despite the success at the box office for 'Barbie,' Billie's trophy was its sole win.

'Poor Things' featuring Emma Stone claimed four awards, including Best Actress, and the UK-produced 'The Zone Of Interest' picked up two, showcasing the variety of talent at the event held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
