Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Closes with Historic $2.2 Billion Gross
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has concluded with an astonishing gross of $2.2 billion, solidifying its position as the highest-grossing tour of all time for a second consecutive year, according to estimates from Pollstar based on data from 149 performances.
The updated figures were shared with The Associated Press after Swift delivered her final show in Vancouver, Canada. Last year, Swift made headlines as the first artist to surpass the billion-dollar threshold with this landmark tour.
In North America alone, the tour is estimated to have earned around $1.04 billion. When looking at global numbers, the total rises to an impressive $2.2 billion.
Andy Gensler, the editor-in-chief of Pollstar & VenuesNow, stated, “We are witnessing history in the making. What Taylor Swift and The Eras Tour achieved in 21 months across five continents and before 10 million fans is extraordinary and unprecedented. The tour’s estimated gross of $2.2 billion is the highest ever recorded and nearly doubles that of the next largest tour.” He emphasized that the tour represents a remarkable achievement, showcasing the industry's ability to push boundaries while providing unforgettable experiences to audiences worldwide.
Currently, the second-largest tour is Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres, which has amassed an estimated $1.14 billion in revenue since its launch in March 2022, with additional dates planned for 2025.
According to Pollstar’s data, Coldplay has sold over 10.3 million tickets, while Swift's tour surpassed the 10 million mark, making her the top-selling solo artist in terms of ticket sales.
The information from Pollstar is compiled through box office reports, venue capacity estimates, and historical sales data, with research conducted from November 2022 through December 2024.
More detailed information will be available in Pollstar’s special year-end issue, set to be released soon.
