Published December 19, 2023

The iconic Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve program, television’s long-standing New Year's Eve tradition, is expanding its reach to radio listeners for the first time this year. Dick Clark Productions and iHeartMedia have partnered to simulcast the celebrated event on radio, presenting it live across 150 iHeart radio stations as well as through the iHeartRadio app. This expansion means that the program’s festivities will be accessible to a broader audience, encompassing major markets like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Dallas.

The Host and Performances

Ryan Seacrest will return as the host for his 19th year, leading the countdown to the new year from Times Square with musical guest Rita Ora. Meanwhile, the West Coast celebration will be handled by Jeannie Mai, featuring an array of performances from artists such as Aqua, Doechii, Ellie Goulding, and Green Day. Attendees in Las Vegas will enjoy a special performance by Post Malone at the Fontainebleau Hotel, and K-Pop fans will be treated to a performance from the South Korean group NewJeans.

A Multicultural Celebration

Embracing a multicultural approach, the event will also include a Spanish language countdown, hosted by Dayanara Torres in Puerto Rico and highlighted by a performance from the artist Ivy Queen. The broadcast, now in its 52nd year, maintains its status as the premier New Year’s Eve program, drawing in millions of viewers with a rich blend of over five hours of music, celebrity features, and glimpses into New Year's festivities around the world.
