RAVO-X: A Celebration of Vietnamese Culture at the Pinnacle of the EDM Scene

For quite some time, the Ravolution Music Festival has been a leading electronic dance music (EDM) celebration in Vietnam, rapidly gaining presence in the region and internationally. Marking its global status, Ravolution Asia claimed the 47th spot on the prestigious DJ MAG TOP 100 FESTIVALS 2023 rankings, alongside behemoths like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.

RAVO-X: Energizing the EDM Landscape in Vietnam

The 10th iteration of the festival, named RAVO-X, electrified Ho Chi Minh City on the night of December 3, drawing thousands of enthusiasts, including international ravers. Commencing at 3 p.m., performers such as Automata, RayRay, ZS, b2b, 74, and others delivered energizing sets on a stage that matched the grandeur expected of Vietnam's prime EDM festival.

Spanning a 20,000 square meter venue equipped with comprehensive amenities and security, alongside a variety of food stalls and side activities, RAVO-X offered a night to remember, both for local and international attendees.

Infusing Local Flavors into a Global Phenomenon

While RAVO-X carried the flair of an international festival, it skillfully wove Vietnamese culture into its fabric. One highlight was Da Tweekaz's performance of the popular Vietnamese song 'See Tình,' which resonated not just with the local crowd but also saw international ravers singing along, showcasing the song's remarkable reach. Vietnamese artist Hoàng Thùy Linh, behind the hit, joyfully reposted the moment on her Instagram.

Steve Aoki, the headlining DJ, lifted spirits with a stellar set and even celebrated a belated birthday on stage, graciously accepting a surprise cake from the festival team three days after his actual birthday on November 30th.

Moreover, the festival featured amazing fireworks, dazzling effects, and top-tier performances by DJs like Oliver Heldens, who paid homage to Vietnam on the EDM map with an emotional rendition of Hello Vietnam coupled with visuals of Vietnam.
