Wilco's Solid Sound Festival Gears Up for a 2024 Comeback with an Exciting Lineup

After a hiatus, Wilco’s highly acclaimed Solid Sound Festival is all set to make a grand comeback. Scheduled for the summer of 2024, the festival has officially confirmed its return, exciting music fans with the promise of another memorable gathering at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). The event, which previously thrilled audiences in 2022, is gearing up for an even more spectacular show in 2024.

Stellar Lineup Announced

The reveal of the 2024 lineup has music lovers buzzing with anticipation. Wilco is set to headline the festival, joined by an array of exceptional talents. On the roster are Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit and the band Wednesday, along with other noteworthy acts like Ratboys. That’s just a glimpse of what to expect, as the festival boasts an eclectic mix of artists and entertainers.

Spanning June 28 to June 30, the full lineup at MASS MoCA will include an impressive ensemble. Attendees will witness performances by Dry Cleaning, Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets, Iris Dement, and pioneering acts like Hailu Mergia. The comedic flair will be provided by John Hodgman’s Comedy Cabaret, while Jeff Tweedy & Friends will bring their unique sound to the stage. The roster further expands with up-and-coming talents such as Horsegirl, Water From Your Eyes, and Soul Glo, guaranteeing a varied musical experience for everyone.

More than Just Music

In addition to the music, the Solid Sound Festival incorporates other forms of entertainment and art, truly making it a cultural hub. The event will feature live podcast recordings, such as Song Exploder with Hrishikesh Hirway and Jeff Tweedy, and an array of other artistic displays. For art enthusiasts, there will be live painting by Steve Keene and a pop-up vinyl store brought by Bellweather Records & Autumn Records.
