Multitalented Chicago music artist Zion Jackson, known professionally as Hitxion, has achieved an impressive goal in 2023: scheduling at least one performance every month. Hitxion's artistic journey is rooted in his family's church singing experiences, alongside his sister who raps under the name Frida Ka$hflo. Their musical influence spurred Zion's curiosity in production, beat making, and engineering, leading him to dabble with music recording as young as 14. Despite beginning with modest equipment like a Snowball microphone in a friend's basement, his commitment to the craft was serious.
