In a delightful turn of events for music enthusiasts, Sarah McLachlan is announced as a headliner for the upcoming Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival slated for July 26-28, 2024. The renowned Lilith Fair star was originally scheduled to perform at the festival in the previous year; however, the event had to be scrapped owing to smoky skies caused by Shuswap wildfires.

Kevin Tobin, the artistic director for the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, expressed his delight over McLachlan's rescheduled performance. Additional acts mentioned are rising talent Begonia, the Nashville country artist Miko Marks, electro-folk duo Moontricks, jazz group Blue Moon Marquee, and the award-winning Lido Pimienta, boasting Colombian-Canadian roots.
