Gozo Launches Christmas Program Featuring Legendary Vengaboys for New Year's Eve

The festive spirit has officially arrived in Gozo with the launch of the Milied f'Għawdex (Christmas in Gozo) program. Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri unveiled the lineup of celebratory events at Villa Rundle in Victoria, marking a season of cheer and community.

Festive Beginnings

Local talent showcased their musical skills at the Aurora Opera House during the Christmas It’s Time concert, setting the tone for the holiday festivities. This concert, featuring popular songs, was the opening act for several weeks of celebration.

A Star-studded New Year's Eve

Victoria, the heart of Gozo, gears up for a special New Year's Eve with a headlining performance by the Vengaboys. The Dutch Eurodance hitmakers will be the centerpiece of a night filled with music and performances by local artists such as the DCapitals Big Band, MiciMago, Ryan Spiteri, Clint Bajada, and Ozzy Lino.

Continuing the Merriment

The Christmas program extends its mirth and merrymaking until January 7th. It encompasses a variety of events including a Christmas Parade on Republic Street, a Magical Christmas Water Cave to delight the senses, and the time-honored tradition of Nativity scenes, with a living crib in Għajnsielem offering a captivating experience.
