The Rise of OG Maco
Reflecting on his rise to fame, Maco remarked in an interview with Vice, "It’s so crazy because every day I wake up, and I’m more famous. I think it’s like this for everybody in the city who actually ends up making it. It was a long period of ‘You’re angry because, you know, I’m nice! And nobody’s paying attention!’”
He explained how he expressed his emotions through music, stating, "I pull from it. But because I can rap, it’s not just pure yelling. It’s formatted, but it’s really just my pure emotion."
