The esteemed event was held on January 23 at the SVA Theater in New York City. Once again, it featured familiar faces such as Reggie Fils-Aimé, the former president of Nintendo of America, who hosted the ceremony. He was joined by the New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC) founder Harold Greenberg and Circle Member Sherri L. Smith.

Furthermore, Neil Druckmann, co-president of Naughty Dog and creator of The Last of Us, was honored with the Andrew Yoon Legend Award, succeeding last year’s honoree Phil Spencer of Xbox.
