Melody Lyman, fresh from a stirring appearance with the Southwest Symphony in their rendition of Handel's 'Messiah,' graced Cloud 9 Studios to offer renditions of 'Joy to the World' and 'O Little Town of Bethlehem.' Her performance, steeped in the holiday spirit, showcases the violin's enchanting tones.

Musical Prodigy Turned Local Icon

Picking up the violin at just 5 years old, Lyman soon emerged as a celebrated young musician within Southern Utah. Her journey saw her securing top honors from a tender age of 6 at various regional and state-level music competitions.

By the time she was in ninth grade, she had become one of the youngest talents in Utah's All-State Orchestra. Presently, Lyman lends her skills to the Southwest Symphony as a second violinist and also imparts her knowledge through private violin lessons.
