Oasis to Re-Release All 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' Music Videos in 4K

Published February 13, 2025

Oasis has officially announced that they will be re-releasing the music videos from their album ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ in stunning 4K resolution. This comes as part of celebrations for the 25th anniversary of their fourth studio album.

On February 12, the band shared this exciting news on their social media platforms, revealing that the remastered videos will include updated audio and will be available over a span of four weeks.

Release Schedule for the Remastered Videos

During this time frame, four music videos from the album's original release cycle in 2000 will be re-released. Each video will drop every Friday at 12pm GMT on YouTube. The first video to be made available in 4K quality will be ‘Who Feels Love?’ on February 14, followed by ‘Sunday Morning Call’ the following Friday.

Following that, ‘Go Let It Out’ will be released on February 28, and the final video, ‘Where Did It All Go Wrong’, will premiere on March 7.

Exciting Anniversary for the Band and Fans

The re-release of the music videos coincides with the upcoming 25th anniversary edition of the album itself, which is set to arrive on February 28, the same date the original album was unleashed back in 2000. The anniversary edition will feature a limited edition vinyl, including both a silver LP and a unique blue and purple marble LP available exclusively at select stores.

Earlier this month, Oasis also announced a 15th anniversary edition of their compilation album ‘Time Flies… 1994 – 2009’ for Record Store Day 2025, continuing a trend of celebrating their discography. This follows last year’s release of a 30th anniversary edition of their iconic debut album, ‘Definitely Maybe’, and the 25th anniversary reissue of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ back in 2020.

Oasis' Comeback Tour and Other Updates

Adding to the excitement, Oasis is gearing up for a massive comeback tour in 2025. This will mark their first live performances together since 2009. The tour is expected to kick off with a series of stadium shows in the UK and Ireland this summer, followed by a sequence of concerts in North America.

At the end of September, the band will return to London for two additional shows at Wembley Stadium, subsequently heading to South Korea and Japan. The tour will wrap up with performances in Australia and will conclude in South America in November.

In recent news, Liam Gallagher made headlines after responding to the cancellation of thousands of tickets for the reunion shows by Ticketmaster. This issue arose when 50,000 tickets were found on resale sites after being sold through unofficial channels. To address this, promoters announced that all tickets sold outside of certain platforms would be canceled and reissued at face value through Ticketmaster.

Fans have expressed frustration about potential wrongful cancellations of their legitimate purchases, which prompted Liam to address concerns on social media. He shared an unscripted response asserting it was a complicated situation.

Recognition and Future Prospects

Moreover, Oasis has recently been nominated for induction into this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a prestigious honor in the music industry. However, Liam Gallagher voiced his discontent regarding the nomination, dismissing the Hall of Fame as an irrelevant institution.

As they prepare for new video releases, a special album edition, and their much-anticipated tour, Oasis continues to solidify their legacy in rock music.
