BLACKPINK's Lisa Releases Debut Album 'Alter Ego'

Published February 28, 2025

Lisa of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has released her first full-length solo album titled "Alter Ego" on Friday, as reported by Sony Music Entertainment Korea.

The new album includes 15 tracks, featuring the lead single "Fxck up the World." Some of the B-sides are titled "Elastigirl," "Thunder," "Badgrrr," "Lifestyle," "Chill," and "Dream."

In "Alter Ego," the Thai singer-rapper introduces listeners to five unique characters: Roxi, Sunni, Kiki, Vixi, and Speedi. Each character reflects a different side of Lisa and is symbolized by the five points of a star. They are linked to specific tracks on the album, according to details from the local distributor.

Additionally, the album features the song "Born Again," which was released earlier and includes collaborations with American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter Raye. This track made its debut at No. 69 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart last week.

Throughout the album, Lisa has teamed up with other global stars such as Megan Thee Stallion, Future, and Tyla.

Looking ahead, Lisa is scheduled to perform at this year's Academy Awards ceremony alongside Doja Cat and Raye on Sunday (U.S. time). Following that, she will take the stage as a solo artist at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, which is a major annual music event in the United States.
