Published December 8, 2023

The vocal trio GENTRI, also known as 'The Gentlemen Trio,' embarked on a three-night musical journey at the Ellen Eccles Theatre in Logan, wrapping up their limited engagement with performances on December 8 and 9. Comprised of Brad Robbins, Casey Elliot, and Bradley Quinn Lever, the group has gained significant attention both domestically and internationally since their formation in 2014 after starring together in a regional production of 'Les Misérables'.

Heartwarming Opening Night

On Thursday, December 7, GENTRI kicked off the series of concerts with a show that pulled in a full house. They opened their festive repertoire to joyous reception from the Cache Valley audience. The performance showcased an array of musical pieces, ranging from traditional Christmas hymns to innovative compositions and original songs that highlighted their harmonious prowess.

One highlight was their unique rendition of 'Still, Still, Still,' which embodies the trio's ability to fuse classic tunes with their modern stylings, much to the delight of the audience. The concert also featured well-loved Christmas carols such as 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen' and 'Little Drummer Boy,' alongside lesser-known melodies.

Exploring Musical Depths

After intermission, GENTRI took a turn towards some non-traditional holiday music, performing a variety of songs that included 'Lead Kindly Light' and the combination of 'Poor Wayfaring Stranger' with 'Coventry Carol.' Their cinematic pop style came through in a medley of film-inspired music, cementing their reputation for blending different genres to create a signature sound.

Despite the sold-out status of their shows on December 8 and 9, a handful of individual seats remain available, giving more fans a chance to experience the trio's live performance.
