Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Concert Film Misses Grammy Nomination in 2025

Published November 9, 2024

Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour concert film has achieved remarkable success, grossing over $250 million and becoming the highest-grossing concert film of all time. However, it was surprisingly left out of the “Best Music Film” category in the 2025 Grammy nominations. The film successfully captured the energy and excitement of her global tour and brought fans together in theaters around the world. Notably, it took a different route by partnering directly with AMC theaters instead of going through traditional film studios, showcasing Swift's innovative approach within the entertainment industry.

Even with this notable absence, Swift still garnered six other Grammy nominations this year. Her album, The Tortured Poets Department, is competing for prestigious awards, including “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album.” Additionally, her collaboration with Post Malone on the single Fortnight is nominated in several key categories: “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Best Music Video.” Furthermore, her duet with Gracie Abrams, titled Us., has made it to the nominations for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.”

The 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Fans can watch the event as it will be aired live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ platforms.
