Jay Weinberg, known for his time as the drummer of Slipknot, has revealed his live return to the music scene. Weinberg has made his announcement via Instagram where he expressed his excitement on joining Infectious Grooves. The supergroup, featuring a roster of celebrated artists from bands like Suicidal Tendencies, Faith No More, and Metallica, is scheduled to play at the renowned festival. Weinberg will be sitting in for Avenged Sevenfold's Brooks Wackerman, bringing his distinct talent to the funk metal collective.

The supergroup's lineup boasts of Mike Muir and Dean Pleasants from Suicidal Tendencies, with Metallica's Rob Trujillo also on board. Adding to this all-star collection is Dave Kushner of Velvet Revolver substituting for Jim Martin.
