Palma Celebrates Sant Sebastia Revetla with 22 Free Concerts

Music lovers are in for a treat as the much-anticipated Sant Sebastia revetla hits Palma on Friday, January 19th. This celebratory night is a big draw for both locals and visitors, eager to enjoy an array of free musical performances.

Multiple Venues, Diverse Performers

The city will come alive with music at five different locations, showcasing a total of 22 acts. From three to five artists will take the stage at each venue, ensuring a wide selection of music to suit every taste, perfect for all generations.

The festivities officially commence at 6pm in Plaza Mayor with a traditional large bonfire. This ceremonial start is enriched by the appearance of festive giants and big heads figures, accompanied by the sounds of xeremiers, known in English as the 'Bag of Groans'.

Concerts are scheduled to start from around 8.30pm and will carry on until late into the night. The open-air venues which include Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Rey Juan Carlos I, Plaza de l’Olivar, and Plaza de Cort will host the free performances, weather permitting.

A Special Treat from Hombres G

In a special addition to the celebrations, the beloved Madrid band Hombres G will perform on Sunday, January 21. The event is part of their 40th Anniversary celebrations, set to take place at Son Fusteret. Gates open at 6pm with the concert starting at 8pm, promising to be an exciting highlight of the festival.
