Heartworms and Skydaddy to Perform at Music For Palestine Event in London

Published January 4, 2024

This weekend, a special fundraising event, Music For Palestine, is set to take place in London featuring performances by Heartworms, Skydaddy, and others. The music event is aimed at raising funds for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, supporting children in need.

Event Details

The highly-anticipated gig, headlined by the Speedy Wunderground-signed act Heartworms, is scheduled for Sunday, January 7, at the George Tavern. Fans of the genre can look forward to a night of goth-inspired post-punk with a strong purpose.

Joining the lineup is Bande Á Part, adding to an already exciting showcase of music talent. Attendees can purchase tickets for the event, and partake in a raffle with prizes that include band merchandise and items from local artists, as announced by Heartworms on their social media.

Support for Peace Efforts

As conflict persists in Gaza, the music community has previously voiced a collective call for peace. Just last month, a union representing musicians urged for an end to hostilities, and an array of artists has signed letters in support of a ceasefire, including big names like Pulp and Sleater-Kinney, as part of the Musicians for Palestine initiative.

Furthermore, musicians such as Sam Fender and The Libertines endorsed a similar appeal via #MusicForACeasefire in cooperation with The Peace and Justice Project.
