The rock icon hinted via his social media that he is ready to divulge information on his forthcoming blues-inspired solo album, which is soon to be released. An intriguing video accompanied his post, showcasing Slash mastering his guitar in the studio, alongside glimpses of vintage recording equipment and a reel-to-reel tape player.

In the video clip, Slash expresses his deep connection with blues. “I’m a rock guitar player that’s firmly rooted in blues,” he says, indicating how this genre significantly influenced his music from a young age. He's long harbored the ambition to create a dedicated blues record, and now that vision has come to fruition. The video concludes with a teaser date and time: “March 8th … 7am PST/10am EST.”

Fans of the guitar virtuoso eagerly await the album’s details, with enthusiastic responses flooding the comments on Slash’s Instagram post. Slash currently tours with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators in support of their 2022 album 4.
