Enjoy a Film at Tewksbury Library

Art Showcase at Lowell Senior Center

The Senior Center Winter Art Exhibition at 276 Broadway St, Lowell, showcases artworks from over 20 local artists, aged from their mid-60s to early 80s, and it will remain open until April 30. Documentary Film Honoring Jack Kerouac's Legacy

Commemorate the 102nd birthday of renowned author Jack Kerouac at a special documentary screening on Saturday, March 9. Lowell Celebrates Kerouac will host the event at the Richard and Nancy Donahue Family Academic Arts Center. The documentary looks back at the history of Lowell's Jack Kerouac Park & Commemorative and starts at 7 p.m, with doors opening earlier at 6:15 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a post-screening reception with refreshments. Insights into the park's creation are shared by figures who have played a pivotal role in Lowell's cultural heritage.

Chelmsford Community Concert

The Chelmsford Community Band delights music lovers with a concert on Sunday, March 10, at the Chelmsford High School's Performing Arts Center. Free to attend, the concert starts at 2 p.m., featuring a repertoire that spans 100 years of musical history, including two distinct marches and pieces from 'The Sound of Music.' A bake sale will follow the concert, and while there is no admission fee, donations are appreciated to support the band's ongoing cultural contributions, backed by the Mass. Cultural Council grants.
