Night on the Town to Illuminate Loveland with Multiple Events

Downtown Loveland is gearing up for a vibrant Friday night filled with enticing events sure to captivate the community. One of the highlights is the Loveland Choral Society's 'A Season of Celebration', a festive performance at the Rialto Theater Center. Scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, with additional shows over the weekend, the choral group will perform a range of pieces from 'The Messiah' to modern classics, accompanied by the Christmas Orchestra, with tickets priced between $20-$22.

Art Exhibitions and Performances

Art enthusiasts can enjoy the 'Celebrating 50 Years' exhibition by the Northern Colorado Weavers Guild, showcasing a diverse array of fiber arts in the Loveland Museum's Green Room. This exhibition is free to the public and will be open until March 31. Meanwhile, the Winter Wonderlights at Chapungu Sculpture Park invites visitors to witness a 30-minute holiday light show every evening until January 1st, with the option of donating canned food for charity.

For those seeking a more dynamic art experience, the 'Ocular' Exhibit will have its opening reception at UAP Gallery, with a unique live audiovisual performance set to take place at 8 p.m. In addition, the 'Elf Jr.: The Musical' by Find Your Light will bring the holiday movie story to life with show times on Friday and Saturday, complete with an interactive maze and photo opportunities with Santa.

First Christian Church presents an Advent Art Exhibit, reflecting on the theme of Advent, open on selected days through January 2nd. For night owls, there's Texas Hold'em at Boise Tavern and Pub Quiz challenges at Big Thompson Brewery on Friday evenings. The Chilson Senior Center offers the chance for the community to convene and play chess every Friday afternoon.
