The prestigious Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (IATSE Local 706) has proudly revealed the honorees of its 11th Annual MUAHS Awards. These awards illuminate exceptional achievements in 23 distinct categories, encompassing film, television, commercials, and live theater.

Grand Celebration of Artistry

The awards ceremony unfolded at The Beverly Hilton in a vibrant and packed gala event. Presenting partners ArdellĀ® and Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty augmented the evening, which also included a live-stream, attracting millions of viewers worldwide on platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo.

Noteworthy Winners

In the realm of feature films, productions like 'Maestro,' 'Saltburn,' 'Barbie,' and 'The Idol' claimed victory. Television accolades were bestowed upon 'The Crown,' 'The Last of Us,' 'The Morning Show,' 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,' and 'Dancing with the Stars.' Daytime Television honors went to 'The Young and the Restless' and 'The Boulet Brothers' Dragula,' while 'American Born Chinese' and 'The Santa Clauses' triumphed in the Children/Teen Program category. The theater was celebrated with the award for 'Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical,' and 'American Horror Stories: Delicate' Promo claimed the laurels in the Commercial/Music Video category.

Special Tributes

The ceremony also acknowledged industry icons with the Distinguished Artisan Award going to Annette Bening for her consistent collaborative excellence with make-up artists and hair stylists. Michael Westmore received the Vanguard Award for his influential work in classics such as 'Rocky,' and 'Star Trek.' The evening also celebrated Kevin Haney and Ora T. Green with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their enduring contributions to the field.
