Introducing New Categories

The Golden Globes have always celebrated excellence in film and television, and this year they have expanded with two fresh categories that add excitement for both viewers and contenders alike. Movie buffs and comedy fans will be thrilled to know the addition of 'Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures' and 'Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television' to the awards.

Film's laugh-inducing titles such as Barbie with Margot Robbie and No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence are recognized in the Best Female Actor - Motion Picture - Musical/Comedy category, while the world of limited series, anthology series, or television motion pictures sees contenders like All the Light We Cannot See and Daisy Jones & The Six.
