New Entertainment Spot: Two Moons Music Hall Joins RiNo District

Published February 2, 2024

A revitalized storefront on Larimer Street is on the cusp of becoming a vibrant new cocktail bar and music hub in the River North Art District (RiNo). Two Moons Music Hall, Pearl Street Hospitality’s latest venture, is set to open doors in early March, promising a lively atmosphere combined with live music.

A Multi-Purpose Venue

This 4,000-square-foot establishment by the creators of popular Denver spots Hudson Hill, Lady Jane, and The Wild will not only serve as a bar but also a stage for artists and musicians alike. Located at 2944 Larimer Street, Two Moons Music Hall is nestled among other hospitality venues and is poised to offer a rich experience with its 'live music and cocktails until the sun sets' theme, alongside coffee and snacks.

Engaging Denver’s Music Scene

Two Moons Music Hall aims to captivate passersby and draw them inside, whether it’s a regular night with an affordable cover charge or a free entry evening. Jake Soffes, the founder and managing partner of Pearl Street, has planned for six nights of live performances weekly, which patrons can enjoy from both the ground and second levels of the space.

With the capacity to accommodate up to 200 guests, the venue’s layout is designed with a Southwestern flair and an inviting color scheme of lighter tones. Its architecture aims to amplify the energy of performances, catering to an array of musical genres. Soffes expresses a commitment to the local music scene, with intentions to offer consistent gigs for Denver artists in a thoughfully curated environment.

A Creative Lineup and Liberal Drinks Menu

Two Moons isn’t just about music; it also hopes to cater to non-drinkers with up to eight different mocktails. Meanwhile, music nights will be genre-specific, creating a routine schedule that includes jazz, indie, and honky-tonk on select days. This setup is designed to benefit both artists in securing regular shows and audiences in following their favorite local talents.

Competition in RiNo for live music is fierce, but Soffes believes Two Moons will carve out its niche, satisfying the need for quality venues that support local performers. The intention is to become a dependable spot for artists to grow their fanbase and for audiences to enjoy diverse talent consistently.
