OKM Music Celebrates 40 Years with 'Mostly Mozart' Festival

Oklahoma's acclaimed music festival, OKM Music, is celebrating its impressive 40th season milestone with tickets now available for purchase. As an homage to its original classical focus, OKM Music will be hosting an exclusive all-Classical Three Day Festival from June 7th to June 9th.

Mostly Mozart 40th Anniversary Festival Begins

The festival will commence 'Under the Stars' on June 7th at Woolaroc in Bartlesville, featuring a concert with violinist and vocalist Jecelle Dobson as the opening act. This up-and-coming Oklahoma talent, a college intern with OKM Music, brings her youthful yet powerful artistry to the stage.

Following Dobson, the Manhattan Chamber Players, a robust chamber orchestra, will headline the evening with exquisite musical pieces by classical legends such as Mozart, Bach, and Tchaikovsky. Their critically acclaimed performances are known for their passion and precision, capturing the true essence of chamber music.

An Evening of Delightful Surprises

Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics and enjoy the enchanting ambiance of the Osage Hills, complete with games for children and a spectacular fireworks finale. This memorable night sets the tone for a weekend of classical music celebration.

'Mozart by Candlelight' and Escher Quartet's Finale

The following evening, on June 8th, OKM Music will host the 'Mozart by Candlelight' event at The Cascia Hall Performing Arts Center in Tulsa, featuring performances by artists Jenny Lin and Adam Tendler. Spectators can indulge in the serene setting, enhanced by the soft glow of candlelight and melodious serenades.

Concluding the festival on June 9th, guests will be treated to a performance by the Escher String Quartet at The Refinery. Known for their depth of insight and aural beauty, the quartet will present a mesmerizing finale to a weekend of stunning musical displays.

Free Showcase Series and Especially for Kids Festival
