CRS 2024 Concludes with High Notes and Industry Insights

The Country Radio Seminar (CRS) 2024 concluded its festivities on March 1st, fostering the spirit of country music through performances, panels, and networking opportunities across three action-packed days. The gathering saw noteworthy moments such as the conferment of the Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) 2024 Artist Humanitarian Award to Kane Brown, a highlight that complemented the slate of events designed to educate and entertain industry professionals.

Highlights and Engagements at CRS 2024

The seminar was marked by a variety of sessions, including the full-day Streaming Summit featuring insightful discussions, and CRS anchor events like ‘Country Heat at CRS’ presented by Amazon Music, and sought-after showcases such as Warner Music Nashville’s Luncheon and Bob Kingsley’s Acoustic Alley. Attendees also enjoyed the ‘Team UMG’ at the Ryman and the Big Machine Label Group’s Luncheon. Engagements like the BBR Music Group Decades Party and ‘Paddle Royale’ Ping Pong Tournament offered unique networking experiences, while the New Faces of Country Music Show and Dinner served not only as a closing ceremony but also as a platform to highlight up-and-coming talents in the country music industry.

The annual New Faces of Country Music® Show, a staple in identifying emerging stars, boasted a line-up for the Class of 2024 that included George Birge, Megan Moroney, Conner Smith, Dillon Carmichael, and Corey Kent. Hosted by Elaina Smith and Katie Neal, the show also featured the CRS/Country Aircheck Awards, which recognizes outstanding country radio talent.

Looking Forward to CRS 2025

Plans for CRS 2025 are already underway, with the event scheduled from February 19 to March 21. The registration process is expected to open later this year, inviting country music and radio personalities to mark their calendars for yet another impactful gathering.

CRS serves as an invaluable platform for learning and connecting within the country radio scene. Panel discussions cover a broad spectrum of topics, including digital marketing, brand strategy, leadership, consumer research, and economics of radio and records, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience for attendees.
