Kings of Leon, the renowned rock band, are slated to electrify fans as the headline act at this year's BST Hyde Park, marking a major comeback. Comprising brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill, alongside cousin Matthew Followill, the band continues their storied legacy dating back to their formation in 1999. The exciting event will see the group take the stage on June 30, and they'll be joined by special guests Paolo Nutini and The Vaccines, adding to the musical spectacle.

Remembering Their Roots

After captivating London last summer with performances at the O2 Arena, Kings of Leon also hosted a memorable stint at Wrexham AFC's Racecourse Ground, facilitated by the club's high-profile owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Now, they're eager to return to the British capital with a performance at BST Hyde Park, where they'll treat fans to their fan-favorite anthems 'Sex on Fire' and 'Use Somebody', among other classics.

A Fresh Chapter in Their Musical Journey

Fans of Kings of Leon have much to anticipate, as the band has announced their ninth studio album, 'Can We Please Have Fun'. This marks their first release since 2021's 'When You See Yourself' and is set to drop on May 10. With the lead single 'Mustang' already giving a taste of the album's direction, it's evident that the group is returning to their gritty essence, while also venturing into new sonic territories. Teaming up with Kid Harpoon, known for his work with Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus, the band aims to recapture the charts with what could become their seventh UK number one album.

Conquering The World Once Again

Their world tour commences at BST Hyde Park and then jets off to North America, with an extensive 26-date run planned across August, September, and October. Additional international tour dates are expected to be announced soon, ensuring fans around the globe can experience the band's revived energy. Along with their BST Hyde Park show, they will also be the main act at the F1 British Grand Prix opening concert on July 4 and will show up at Lollapalooza Brazil in March.
