Altea Hosts Charity Concert for Animal Welfare

Published March 7, 2024

The coastal town of Altea is gearing up for an event with a cause, as the MisterX restaurant opens its doors for the Altea Blues Project charity concert on March 16. This musical gathering is not just about entertainment, but also about providing support for animals in need.

Uniting Music and Compassion

The concert, spearheaded by the Altea Blues Project in partnership with the Council of Health and Welfare Animal of Altea, is designed to help our furry friends thrive. It's a chance for individuals to make a tangible impact, to 'make it pawsible' for local animals to enjoy better lives.

Ticket Sales Directly Support Animal Welfare

For the modest sum of €15, attendees can enjoy a day filled with live blues music while knowing that their ticket purchase contributes 100 per cent to the Society for the Protection of Animals and Plants of the Marina Baixa. This organization's mission involves spreading awareness, caring for stray animals, providing necessary veterinary services, and finding animals loving homes.

A Legacy of Generosity and Aid

Supported last year by Benidorm's Mayor Toni Perez, and with funding surpassing €40,000, the Society's efforts have been crucial. Nevertheless, continued local support is vital.

Making a Difference Through Community and Culture

The Altea Blues Project encourages community members to join in making a positive difference. The upcoming event signifies more than just a charity concert—it's poised to become a vital link between the people of Costa Blanca and the animals that share their environment.

Enjoyment with a Purpose

Starting at 1 pm, the event promises not only high-quality blues music but also an assortment of tasty food, including vegan options. It's an opportunity to savor, socialize, and support animals who are without protection or a home.
