Un Puente hacia La Habana Festival to Celebrate Music in Cuba's Capital

The International Festival Un Puente hacia La Habana, paying tribute to Havana as a Creative City of Music, is set to take place from April 26 to 28. This festival stands as a testament to the city's vibrant music scene and has been officially announced today.

Renowned Cuban and International Artists to Perform

The event will be hosted by Club 500 José Antonio Echeverría, a popular venue in Havana. It will feature a lineup of illustrious Cuban performers including Los Van Van, Waldo Mendoza, Karamba, Buena Fe, and Havana D’Primera. These artists will share the stage with talented musicians from the Netherlands, Spain, and Colombia, showcasing a fusion of international musical flair.

Final Performances and Partnerships

The Club will open its doors on Friday and Saturday with notable ensembles performing each night. The closing concert is set to take place at the Centro Cultural Mónaco in the Diez de Octubre municipality.

The festival benefits from the support of various entities such as the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (Egrem), and is a collaboration with the Agencia Musicuba, 360 Producciones, and the Dirección Municipal Plaza de la Revolución, all of which are closely involved in the festival's production.

Originally established in 2008 in Zaragoza, Spain, Un Puente hacia La Habana serves as a musical platform that promotes cultural exchange between Cuba and countries across the globe.
