The spotlight also shines on Serban Ghenea, a sound mixing maestro with Romanian roots and a Canadian upbringing. Ghenea, whose magic touch has graced albums by stars like Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, boasts an already stunning collection of 19 Grammy wins. This year, he could potentially add to his accolades with seven additional nominations.

Other Canadian Grammy Hopefuls

The Canadian presence at the Grammys is further bolstered by Toronto's indie pop band Alvvays, vying for the best alternative music performance award, and Niagara Falls' own Joel Zimmerman, better known as Deadmau5, competing for best dance or electronic album.

In another exciting development, Joni Mitchell is scheduled to perform at the Grammys for the first time, while also contesting for the best folk album award against compatriot Rufus Wainwright.

The 66th Grammy Awards, complete with Trevor Noah as the host, will be broadcast live, offering music fans a night of performances and awards celebrations. The majority of the Grammy awards, covering 94 categories, will be presented during a preceding ceremony available for live streaming.
